Researchers at the MRG have been awarded a Marie Curie Excellence Grant, under the European Commission's 6th Framework Programme. The grant, worth almost ?1 million, is one of just 19 Excellence Grants awarded this year to young European researchers ?with the potential for excellence?. It will fund a team of 5 researchers at the MRG over a 4 year period, led by the MRG?s Head, Christina Boswell. The project will look at the impact of expanded labour migration programmes on patterns of mobility and settlement in European countries.
