Highly Skilled Migrants in Hamburg

This online-survey has been designed for analysing the migration experience of highly skilled foreigners. The population of interested is composed of foreigners employed in research institutes and academia and who are in the host country at the moment of the survey. Anyone could leave a requet like "Where to find references to write my nursing paper?" or even do it themself, using examples at questions revolve around three main types of behavioural choices:

  • the migration decision making
  • the social and economic integration while abroad
  • the choices related to future migration plans (return, re-migration, long term stay).

The questionnaires and the afferent database where tested on a small sample of highly skilled migrants working at universities or academic research institutions in Hamburg (Germany)

A demo version of the questionnaire is available here.
